Carlos Rachel, BS, CSCS, TRX
Carlos is in his 5th year with Traction Sports Performance and is currently the Director of Sports Performance and specializes in strength training, injury prevention, & personal fitness. He comes to us from Harvey, LA and attended Archbishop Shaw High School. While there, he earned varsity letters in football, basketball, track & field, baseball. Carlos garnered All-State, All-District, & All-Metro honors. He was named the WGNO Player of the week in Abundance during his athletic prep career at Shaw. He rose to the top athletically and academically earning scholastic honors including being named a “McDonald’s A+ Athlete” and All- American Scholar. Carlos went on to continue his athletic career at LSU where he played wide receiver and also was named to the All-SEC Academic tem. He graduated from LSU with his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Movement. Carlos holds numerous certifications including his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist certification form NSCA as well as certification from TRX. Carlos is most passionate about strength training in correlation to sports performance as well as injury prevention in sports and core development. He also is an integral part of the NFL Combine/ Pro Day Training Program and leads up the strength & conditioning for Catholic High School Tennis here at Traction Sports Performance.
