Mack is a Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (National Strength and Conditioning Association). Mack earned his degree in sports medicine Nicholls State University. His continual pursuit of quality, and vision of creating a facility completely dedicated to the development and rehabilitation of athletes, led to the development of Traction Center for Sports Excellence in 2006.

Mack began his career in 2001 as an intern for world-renowned sports performance specialist Mackie Shilstone. During his early career as a sports training specialist, he trained hundreds of professional athletes including the likes of Roy Jones Jr., Baron Davis and Dante Stallworth, and many other players from different sports. Under the guidance of Shilstone, Mack learned and implemented programs for athletes of all ages and levels. Other mentors that have influenced Mack include U.S. Olympic track coach Boo Schexnayder, and U.S. Olympic lifting legend, coach Gayle Hatch.

Mack is also a former athlete whose promising career was ended prematurely due to a shoulder injury caused by overuse and an improper training regimen. That injury is what drives him to focus on the prevention of injuries and the performance development of all athletes. From multi-millionaire professional athletes to the 10-year-old soccer player, Mack approaches each athlete with the same purpose and passion.
