Operations Manager

Traction Sports is in need of an Operations Manager for the Spring + Summer seasons. This is a great part-time job for those who love softball/baseball! What’s better than spending weekends hanging out at the ballpark?

Job Summary
The Gameday Operations Manager oversees frontline venue operations during events, managing gate workers, cleaning crews, and facility maintenance staff to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient fan experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site operations during events
  • Supervise gate staff, cleaning crews, and maintenance teams
  • Ensure efficient guest entry, crowd flow, and access control
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the venue
  • Respond to facility and maintenance issues in real time
  • Coordinate pre-event setup and post-event breakdown
  • Enforce safety procedures and venue policies

  • Ability to withstand the outdoor elements for spring, summer and fall; including rain or extreme heat

IMPORTANT CAMP INFORMATION

  1. Drop Off: Campers should arrive by 8:00am for initial check-in and to learn camp rules and structure. Drop off is located at 1430 Gardere Lane Baton Rouge, LA 70820

  2. Pick Up: Our parking lot gates remain locked during camp hours. Gates will be opened at 11:45am for half day pickup and 3:00pm for full day campers.

  3. Clothing: Athletic shorts or baseball pants along with a baseball hat. We will hand out camp shirts at check in on Monday mornings. Baseball cleats and/or tennis shoes are needed for camp.

  4. Equipment: Campers should have their own glove, helmet, and bat.

  5. Water / Snacks: All campers need to bring their own snacks (PEANUT FREE) and water bottles.

  6. Lunch - All full day campers need to bring their own lunch (PEANUT FREE).
