Perfect Game President Jerry Ford
has announced a partnership with Louisiana-based company, Traction Sports Performance. Under the direction of Vice President, Darren Larson, the partnership with Traction will help accelerate the company’s youth baseball expansion across the state of Louisiana. As the Perfect Game Baseball Affiliate Director for Louisiana, Traction Sports personnel offer more than 10 years of experience in the competitive tournament industry. Effective immediately, Traction’s baseball tournaments in Baton Rouge and Broussard will become Perfect Game events bringing young players in Louisiana enhanced opportunities to gain exposure, develop their skills, and fuel their passion for the game they love.
Perfect Game is excited to announce the 1st annual PG National Invitational Championship, being held at the Boombah Sports Complex in Sanford, FL. This event is strict invite-only, with teams earning an invitation by winning qualifying events or being hand selected by the PG National Tournament Committee. Traction Sports Performance will host at least one Super Regional NIT Qualifier in Spring 2021. During the summer, The 1st ever Perfect Game Louisiana State Championship and Perfect Game World Series Events will be held at Traction Sports Performance and St. Julien Park. The PG World Series in Louisiana will have separate AA and AAA divisions at all ages.

Traction Sports Performance – Baton Rouge, LA
Traction Sports Performance is a 45 Acre Sports Complex located in the heart of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Only minutes from the campus of Louisiana State University and Downtown Baton Rouge, the facility offers 10 turf baseball fields, 1 high school sized natural surface field, 1 Miracle League Field, 11 covered batting cages, full service concession stands, an air-conditioned restaurant, and a pro shop. The complex has been a venue for competitive baseball and softball tournaments since 2008.
Broussard Sports Complex at St. Julien Park – Broussard, LA
Broussard Sports Complex at St. Julien Park is a $37 million public sports complex built on 122 acres of land that offers 11 all turf baseball/softball fields, 2 turf warmup training fields, and 8 covered batting cages. Other amenities at St. Julien Park include 2 open-air pavilions, covered grandstands, playgrounds, and a splash pad. The complex has been a venue for competitive baseball and softball tournaments since 2017.
